Studio Dance
Studio photography requires a space to set up. I'll come to you. I'll bring strobe lights, backdrops (paper) and the dance expertise to get your photos perfect. Dance teachers are always welcome to help, but I can talk your dancers into flattering poses and correct their technique.

Studio Shoot at your Dance Studio
Studio Responsibility:
Set up fee - $250 - includes access to all solo images selected at that day’s shoot for studio marketing, printing and sharing on social media .
*Studio should retain permission of parents before using images on social media and in marketing.
Scheduling - The studio sets the schedule for groups and solo shots. Each dancer can choose between 10 and 30 minutes for their session(s). If they have multiple costume changes, they should have multiple shorter sessions. Dancers that have upwards of 5 costume changes should sign up for 10 minutes sessions separated by other dancers. If all that is changing is a pair of shoes, then a 15 minute session is all that is needed and does not constitute a “costume change” in the pricing.
Enforcing the Session Parent Policy - Parents are asked to not enter the photo space until the end of the session. However, they are encouraged to watch. This ensures that the dancer is focusing on the camera. All parents should be available to give feedback on the images during the shoot or at the end of the session. For younger dancers, a teacher should be available to assist in placement or recalling movement from the recital piece specific for that costume. Parents should discuss desired poses with older dancers to ensure they get the shots that they want.
Purchase of Group Images - $50 per group image. All group images will be available for dancers to download either by the dance studio or Dapper Dewey Photography.
Backdrop Selection - Choose gray, white or black paper for the backdrop for the sessions.
Locations may have additional fees for travel. Fees for travel should be paid by the studio.
A 7% sales tax will be added to all session fees.
*** Many studios use images from their company members to create a calendar for fundraising. If you are interested in this as an option, please ask about pricing for this addition.
Dancer Responsibility:
Session Contract - Parents will be asked to sign a contract to confirm their session time and includes a release for Dapper Dewey to use their images in marketing and on social media. You may decline the use of your dancer’s images by Dapper Dewey Photography.
A 7% sales tax will be added to all session fees and photo purchases.
Session Times:
One costume: 10-20 minute session
Two costumes: two 10-15 minute sessions
Three or more costumes: three (or more) 10 minute sessions
Session Fees & Information:
Sitting Fee - $50 per time slot - includes one photo and is due by the session date. This means that each costume change is a new session and is a new $50 fee. A $50 cancellation fee is applied to all sessions.
Purchase of Additional Images - Each additional image purchased is $25 per session. Example: one image is included in your session’s sitting fee for $50 and each additional image during that session is $25. If you sign up for one session time and want 3 images, your fee will be $100 plus tax.
ALL PHOTO PURCHASES ARE DIGITAL DOWNLOADS - Prints, canvases, calendars, etc. are available for purchase.

Choose your images at the end of your session or request a proof gallery to take your time to decide.
Payments are due before images will be released.
Duet, trio and small group photos pay an additional fee per dancer per image purchased - $10 per additional dancer.
After purchase, your high quality digital images will be available for download in a password protected gallery.
You'll receive a photographer's release to print, copy, and share your images on social media.
Your gallery of images will be sent to you within one month after our shoot date.
